The boy is dignosed with Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome. Being a high risk disease,he requires Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, which is the only curative option as of now.
The cost of HSCT including chemotherapy, hospitalization, investigations, stem cell collection and transplant along with supportive care with IV antibiotic, IV anti-fungal, GvHD prevention & Management and Nutritional support is around Rs. 19-20/- Lakhs.
