The boy is dignosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia -AML with Orbital Chloroma. Being a high risk disease,he requires Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, which is the only curative option as of now. As sibling is full match, Matched sibling donar HSCT is planned.
The cost of HSCT including chemotherapy, hospitalization, investigations, stem cell collection and transplant along with supportive care with IV antibiotic, IV anti-fungal, GvHD prevention & Management and Nutritional support is around Rs. 24-25/- Lakhs.
